Healthier Pennine Lancashire is a programme to improve our health and care system in Pennine Lancashire, which is made up of East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen.
We have worked with residents, volunteers, doctors, nurses, health and care professionals, community workers and others to develop our plans for change. We are working together in partnership across Pennine Lancashire to improve the health and care outcomes and to help everyone living here live healthier lives.

The biggest transformation to the way family doctors work in more than a generation will be launched from today (Mon 1 July). It will see general practices, large and small, working to support each other while offering a wider range of specialist care services to patients from a range of health professionals.
